Wir haben während der letzten 2 Jahre hart an der vollständigen Automatisierung unseres Backends gearbeitet.
Diese Arbeit hat nicht nur die bereits bekannten funktionalen Vorteile für unsere Kunden gebracht, sondern Sie ermöglicht es uns auch Kosten zu reduzieren.
Diesen Vorteil geben wir gerne an unsere Kunden weiter, daher habe ich heute die freudige Aufgabe unsere neuen Cloud Server Preise (pro Monat) zu verkünden:
Dieses Wochenende wurde die neue Netmonic Webseite live geschalten. Inhaltlich neu konzipiert und von unserem Grafiker, Daniel Marian, neu gestaltet, werden die Netmonic Produkte, Cloud Server und Remote Office, deutlicher positioniert, um die Vorteile für unsere Kunden klarer darzustellen.
Die öffentliche Webseite und das Management-Interface wurden explizit getrennt. Daher ist das Management-Interface jetzt auch direkt unter https://manage.netmonic.com erreichbar.
Die Mission “neue Webseite” konnte, von der Idee bis zur Implementierung, in 21 Tagen (und Nächten 
) umgesetzt werden.

Rails is the web framework Netmonic is using for developing our public portal and internal management sites. Today the Rails community released Rails 2.0 (and 2.0.1 a bugfix release).
It’s not announced on the internet yet, but you can find the 2.0.1 release tag right here: http://dev.rubyonrails.org/svn/rails/tags/rel_2-0-1/.
Our production website was already running a Rails trunk version during the last few weeks, so switching to Rails 2.0 was a matter of minutes and worked flawlessly.
A big thank you to the Rails community for their great work. Rails 2.0 really brings some nice changes for developer enjoyment
